I really just need a stable controller framework and there Spring-MVC is a good choice. The missing pieces are just plain jsp/javascript where i have full control of.

clean stateless web framework.
It's API looks similar to Vaadin, but it is html with minimal JS.
Click works on mobile devices.
Click has Spring integration.

Form functionality is scheduled for re-design in Vaadin 7. The first developer preview of the new API should be available in June. All input on this is welcome.
